★ DANCE TITLE is an optional event and not required. Every entry receives an Adjudication Placement and a Beautiful Trophy.

Overall Title Top Score receive a beautiful Tiara. *Students are eligible to win both Overall Solo Talent and Dance Title.

How to Enter Dance Title Check off Title box under the name of Solo routine song. Student may enter only 1 solo routine for Title. If a student is entering 2 or more solos into the dance competition, decide which routine you would like to be considered for Dance Title. On the Online Registration form, after you enter the solo routine name, Check off Title on the routine you wish to be considered for Title.<

What is Required of Dance Title Dance Title is judged during the Solo Talent and student competes one time only. Student does not re-dance their solo again for Title.

★ STUDENT CHOREOGRAPHER If a student wishes to be Awarded for Student Choreography on Stage., then you must select and check off the Student Choreographer checkbox on the online registration form. In addition you must list the Student into the Teacher field as the teacher’s field prints out next to the routine so the judges can see it was student choreographer. Select Add Teacher field end enter the Student into this field. In the First Name of Teacher (enter first Name of Student).
In the Last Name of Teacher (type the words (Stud Chor)
Students name will now will appear in the Teacher / choreographer field next the Routine. Example: Uptown Funk Britney (Stud Chor)

★ PHOTOGENIC Photos must be EMAILED into carol@stepup2dance.com at least 3 wks prior to the Comp. Subject Line: Photogenic
Rename the photo to be Student’s First Name, Age Date & Studio Example: Mary, age 7, Studio A
Photo can be any size, color, or black/white, home shot, or professional. All photos must be emailed in by Dance Studio Owner.

★ MODEL No experience necessary for these fun optional events. All modeling events are freestyle, (no props please), approx. 1 min on stage.

Costume Model Choose any Dance Costume. Model-free style to show off the Dance Costume of your choice.
Fashion Wear Model A casual ‘put together’ outfit of your choice.
Formal Wear Model Prom Gown, Evening Gown, Short Party Dress of your choice

★BROADWAY AUDITION (offered only at select locations)

1) introduce yourself (microphone) on stage (20 seconds, Name, Age, Interesting Fact about You)
2) Model your black dancewear (any style leotard, dance shorts, etc.) dance shoes (any type or color)
3) Answer a Pop Question (microphone) from judges about your future ambition. This is for All ages.
